Therapeutic Somatic Strategies
Somatic Experiencing is a pioneering naturalistic body oriented approach to relieving the physical, psychological, emotional and physiological effects of acute and chronic stress and PTSD developed by Dr Peter Levine.
SE employs the awareness of one’s ‘felt sense’ to support people to “renegotiate” rather than relive their trauma experience.
